This is ZipStohr’s second season at The Adams Theater. We're pleased to be back and look forward to bringing an incredibly funny National Headliner- Richie Byrne back to the Berkshires. Byrne headlined ZipStohr's Comedy at the Plaza, in Pittsfield, many years ago. The show features another ZipStohr favorite, the very funny Mark Riccadonna, while the sassy Ashley Gutermuth will be the opener. Riccadonna is actually also a National Headliner. It'll be a very enjoyable night of comedy. Show time is 7:30pm, Doors open at 6:30pm. Cash bars will be available.
The Adams Theater is at 27 Park Street Park Street (Route 8) in Adams, MA In addition to on-street parking, all public parking lots in town are free after 6 pm and most are within a 3 minute walk from the theater. A local parking map is below.
Built as a movie theater in 1937, the Adams Theater was a cultural anchor that connected generations of local residents until its closure in 1967.
The goal is to restore the 12,443 sq-ft theater complex, cultivate downtown activities, and become a year-round arts and performance venue that is accessible to all.

RICHIE BYRNE
Simply put, Richie Byrne is a riot! A quick witted, observational story-teller who has performed on the iconic stages of Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall. His standup comedy television credits include Comedy Central, VH1, "The Rosie O'Donnell Show", "Good Day New York" and "Gotham Live" on AXS-TV. He was the longest running in-studio warmup act for The Dr. Oz Show. Byrne has also brought his warm up talents to “The Rachael Ray Show", "The Chew", “The Jane Pauley Show,” and "Murphy Brown" as well as the “Miss America Pageant.”
Byrne’s passion for acting on both stage and screen have led him to high-profile star turns on “Sex and the City,” “The Sopranos,” “Law & Order: Criminal Intent," and "Conviction".
MARK RICCADONNA is smart, funny story-teller who is authentic and insanely creative. He has a hilarious special on Dry Bar Comedy and has been a contributing writer for SNL's Weekend Update. Riccadonna has also been seen on Fox's Laughs. One of ZipStohr's favorites, the jovial Riccadonna has performed at two Comedy at the Plaza's through the years.
ASHLEY GUTERMUTH is a New Jersey-based comedian/actress who has been making waves in the comedy scene with her high-energy, positive, and hilarious style. A military wife, Gutermuth first gained recognition as the winner of The "Seinfeld Challenge" on The Tonight Show w/ Jimmy Fallon. Ashley has earned over 1 billion views and 1.9 million followers online. Gutermuth stars in the hit Amazon Prime show Office Joe.

ZipStohr Comedy was founded in 2005, by Dave "Zip" Zerbato and Rick Stohr, two lifelong Berkshire County residents. In that time, we have produced over 60 top-level stand-up comedy shows in Pittsfield at The Crowne Plaza (now Holiday Inn), Colonial Theatre, Barrington Stage's Main Theater, as well as Pittsfield's first comedy club- the now defunct Underground Pub. As we expand to Adams, as well, our mission remains the same, to bring you THE VERY BEST COMEDY SHOWS IN THE BERKSHIRES, featuring the best talent from New York, Boston, Los Angels and other comedy hotbeds. Last year, we brought America's Got Talent's highest finishing comic, Tom Cotter to Adams Theater.
